What is Jeevamrutham and How is it prepared?
- Jeevamrutham is prepared by mixing cow dung, cow urine, besan, jaggery and ant-hill soil, after which they are fermented for three days to increase microbial content.
- Make sure that lumps aren’t formed during this process by mixing it daily for at least 10 minutes daily( for 3 days).
- Cover the top of your drum (mixer) with a cloth and keep it in shade..
How to use Jeevamrutham?
- Dilute it with water in 1:10 ratio and apply directly to soil for all existing plants. You can do this daily, but keep in mind that it doesn’t overflow from your planter/pot/growbag.
- Before sowing new seeds, Jeevamrutham can be used to enrich your soil bed at least 3 days prior. Dilute it with water in 1:5 ratio for this purpose.
- Jeevamrutham can be sprayed on plants and is known to have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
